Parents are a child’s first educators. The Parent-Teacher Association keeps that partnership alive all year.

A convivial atmosphere between parents, students and staff

The Parent-Teacher Association is actively engaged in the school community. It exists to make Cosmopolitan feel like somewhere families belong, not somewhere children are dropped off.

Acts as a liaison between parents and the school community.
Supports families, both new arrivals and returning ones.
Organises cultural and social events through the year.
Raises funds to support the academic and social needs of the community.
Runs reading sessions and joins excursions alongside the core mission.

Membership

Open to every current parent and teacher

If you have enthusiasm and skills to share, we would love you to become an active member of the educational community. Membership is open to all current parents of Cosmopolitan students and to teachers.

Staying in touch day to day

The liaison booklet is the most efficient link between the school and the family. Parents are asked to check it, monitor progress through teachers, and keep contact details current so we can always reach you.

Come and see a bilingual classroom in action

Book a personal tour and meet the teachers who will look after your child. Visits run Monday to Friday during term time, and we are happy to answer questions in French or English.
